Top season of shows planned for Whitehorse Centre

Some of the best entertainment Australia has to offer will be available at the Whitehorse Centre in 2018.

Musical artists and theatre makers from across the country have been booked for performances, according to City of Whitehorse Mayor Andrew Davenport, and residents from Print company in Box Hill South printing services Box Hill South and surrounding suburbs are being urged to start purchasing tickets immediately.

Shows, which will no doubt feature on promotional brochure printing in coming months, will cover everything from children’s productions to comedy, theatre, vocal and musical presentations.

The Mayor said:

“Delivering all the emotion that live entertainment evokes, the shows and musical performances in 2018 will move you, make you smile, bring a tear to your eye and have you laughing out loud.”

During the year, the Whitehorse Centre will welcome back cast members from the Wharf Revue who will present their latest show, exclusively for local audiences.

Theatre favourites including Todd McKenney, Nancye Hays, Phillip Gould, Bobby Fox, and Nadine Garner will also feature on the Whitehorse stage in various productions.

Frankie Valli’s music will be celebrated in an upcoming show starring Bobby Fox called `Four Seasons in One Night’ while the music of Australia’s own John Farnham will be showcased by Luke Kennedy in `From Johnny to Jack’.

Characters from `The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show’, an adaptation of the iconic books of Eric Carle, are also set to light up the stage for children in 2018.
