Allen’s Vehicle Refinishers (AVR), owned by Andy and Gail Allen, has decided to join the Fix Auto Australia franchise, known for its logo design of a red and yellow arrow pointing at each other.

Owner of AVR, Andy Allen, is from the United Kingdom and came to Australia in the early 1990s. Since 2003, AVR has been operating in Wangara as a fully operational, independent collision repair shop when the Allens took over the existing business.

AVR was nominated for and won the Paint and Panel Suncorp Best Small Business Award for the Print company in Western Australia printing services Western Australia region in 2012. It operates as an approved Vibrance applicator and specialises in environmentally friendly, waterborne paint finishes. Following the change of the AVR business to Fix Auto Australia, the services offered include a wide range of vehicle accident repairs from small dents to major accident works.

According to Allen, the decision for AVR to be integrated into the Fix Auto network was made after careful consideration. The new partnership, he hopes, will be a win-win situation for both businesses, while helping Andy and Gail Allen’s team mature and improve.

Head of business of Fix Auto Australia, Terry Feehan, stressed that the new business partnership will be ideal to aid the growth of the business. He also added that the Allens hold a good reputation in their community due to their service and quality of work. Furthermore, he believes Fix Auto is an owner-operated business and hence is in a perfect position to provide good service to its customers.
